Our FD30 fire rated patent pending patient viewing system has been developed in conjuction with various hospitals in the mental health sector, our vision panel units feature a robust design with 6.5mm laminated safety glass with safety film which will hold glass fragments within the void should a vision panel get damaged, thus overting patient self harm.
Inside the vision panel unit is a 4mm clear polycarbonate centre pane which moves vertically by a spring loaded thumbkey, operating the open and closure of the vision panel. Full or semi obscurity is attainable with one single turn, the thumbkey is located within the door not within the glass like comparative units avallable on the market.
The locking mechanism for the vision panel is manufactured to BS standards and readily stocked.
The thumbkey is operable on both sides of the door, the thumbkey for the patient side has an overide with colour indicator on the hospital staffed side.
