Our FD30 fire rated patent pending patient viewing system has been developed in conjuction with various hospitals in the mental health sector, the units feature a robust design with 6mm toughened safety glass and 6.4mm pyrodor fire safety glass with safety film which will hold glass fragments within the void should a unit get damaged, thus overting patient self harm.
Inside the unit is a 4mm clear polycarbonate centre pane which moves vertically by a spring loaded thumbkey, operating the open and closure of the vision panel. Full or semi obscurity is attainable with one single turn, the thumbkey is located within the door not within the glass like comparative units avallable on the market.
The locking mechanism is manufactured to BS standards and readily stocked.
The thumbkey is operable on both sides of the door, the thumbkey for the patient side and an overide with colour indicator on the hospital staffed side.
